Payment, Cancellation & Refund Terms
Diane Rooker trading as Pearl Counselling & Parenting Programmes (A.B.N.21 782 329 277) (we, us, our, or Pearl Counselling) makes every effort to be fully transparent at all times. Therefore, we have developed these Payment, Cancellation & Refund Terms (these Terms) to ensure that you are fully aware of your rights with respect to payments, cancellations and refunds made, in exchange for packaged professional services provided by Pearl Counselling (PackagedServices) via our website (our Website).
Your order signifies your agreement to be bound by these Terms, which constitute the agreement between Pearl Counselling and you.
You must provide complete and accurate details at the time of purchasing any Packaged Services from us. You may be required to provide additional details upon our request, to ensure the accuracy of your order.
All prices quoted on our Website, or pursuant to any enquiry that you may make with us, are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST.
We reserve the right to vary the prices displayed on the Website, from time to time, and without notice to you.
Pearl Counselling accepts payment via direct bank transfer and PayPal.
After you make payment for your order, you will receive a transaction confirmation email, which confirms receipt of your order.
In the event that Pearl Counselling does not receive cleared funds from you, within 48 hours of you submitting your order with us, we will email you at the email address nominated in your order, to communicate about your payment.
We recognise that protection and safety of information relating to your credit card is very important. Therefore, we provide you with a very safe and stress-free online shopping experience.
We do not store your credit card details at any time, so consumer confidence and satisfaction is assured at all times.
PROCESSING OF ORDERS
We will ordinarily process orders made via our Website within two (2) business days of your order being made and payment being received from us in cleared funds.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
Cancellation by us
Pearl Counselling may cancel your order, if for any reason, we are unable to provide you with any of the Packaged Services or Product that you have purchased from us. We will contact you should this occur.
You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek compensation for any loss, expense or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience, which may result from such cancellation.
Cancellation by you
You are not permitted to cancel an order, unless expressly agreed to, in writing, by Pearl Counselling. However, you are permitted to reschedule an appointment by providing Pearl Counselling with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of your decision to reschedule an appointment.
If you are concerned about your entitlement to a refund relating to your purchase of any Service Package, we recommend that you read on to learn about your rights and our obligations to you.
Entitlement to a refund
You will only be entitled to a refund where you have an entitlement under any relevant law, such as the Australian Consumer Law. In the event that you believe that you are entitled to a refund, you must provide us with:
- your full name and any other details that we may require from you to confirm your purchase of a Service Package; and
- the reason for claiming the refund.
Issue of refunds
If you are entitled to a refund in relation to a Service Package, the refund will be issued via the same payment method used by you to make your original payment to us. Please email us if you have not received your refund within 72 hours of us notifying you that a refund has been issued.
By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to receive further electronic communications from us in relation to the Pearl Counselling business, including information relating to items, competitions, promotions, special offers and any other commercial message. Of course, you may email us to unsubscribe at any time.
The laws of Queensland govern these Terms.
